  • Fuggle Treehouse is one of two treehouse accommodations on the One Acre Wood site.
  • There are 3 bedrooms in total.
  • There is step-free level access to some of the bedrooms.
  • Only assistance dogs are welcomed at this venue.
  • Shared facilities include: a utility room.
• Parking and Public Transport View
  • The venue has its own car park.
  • The nearest train station is Ledbury.

• Getting In and Around View
  • There is step-free access via ramp at the most accessible entrance.
  • The following areas have stepped access: the bunkbed and second king size bedrooms.
  • Access throughout may include manual doors.
  • The ground and first floors can be accessed via stairs.
  • The following facilities are available: a seat/chair.
  • Staff receive the following training: Disability Awareness Training.
  • Golf buggies are available to transfer guests between the car park and treehouse.
• Toilet and Changing Facilities View
  • There is not a toilet with adaptations available.
  • The shared toilet facilities are located in the utility room.

• The car park is located opposite the Fuggle Treehouse around 40 metres away.
• The car park is open air/surface.
• This car park is for visitors only.
• Parking is free for all users.
• There is 1 electric vehicle charging point.
• Payment for EV charger use to be arranged with the owner of One Acre treehouses.

Entrance

• This entrance is located to the front of the Fuggle Treehouse.
• There is ramped and stepped access at the entrance.
• The ramp is between 75cm and 150cm wide with no handrails.
• There are double manual gates at this entrance, however one gate is locked.
• The gate opens towards you.
• The width of the opening is 128cm.
• There is a second set of double manual doors .
• The second set of doors open towards you.
• The width of the opening is 140cm.
• There is a key lock at a height of 108cm.
• There is step-free level access as you enter.

Kitchen (with Dining Area)

• The kitchen is located to the left as you enter the Fuggle.
• There is step-free level access into the kitchen.
• There is room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
• The kitchen has under counter cupboards.
• The work surface is 94cm from the floor.
• The hob is 98cm from the floor.
• The oven is not at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
• The sink is 94cm from the floor.
• The sink has a twist turn mixer tap.
• Facilities within the kitchen include a fridge, a dishwasher, a microwave, a kettle and a toaster.
• The following machines are at a suitable height for a wheelchair user: dishwasher.
• Seating available in the kitchen includes: benches.

• The lounge is located to the right as you enter the Fuggle Treehouse.

• Furniture available in the lounge includes: coffee tables.
• There is a TV with subtitles.

Standard Bedroom (King Size)

• The bedroom surveyed is located to the right of the staircase, just off the lounge.
• The most accessible route to the bedroom has step-free level access.
• There is step-free level access into the bedroom.
• The door opens by sliding.
• The width of the door opening is 84cm.
• The bedroom has a double bed.
• The top of the mattress is 56cm from the floor.
• The space under the bed is 26cm from the floor.
• Furniture can be moved to enable a manoeuvring space next to the bed (150cm x 150cm).

• The bathroom surveyed is located just off the kitchen and dining area.
• The most accessible route to the bathroom has step-free level access.
• There is step-free level access into the bathroom.
• The bathroom door opens by sliding.

• There is not room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
• There is not a lateral transfer space next to the toilet.
• There is a wall mounted toilet roll holder, a wash basin, a soap dispenser and a hand towel available.
