  • Services / facilities within the grounds include : - Petting area in Lower Farm open daily for sessions at 10:30, 13:30 and 16:30. - Goat milking demonstration at 11:00 on Upper Farm. - Indoor play barn with climbing wall, play and kiddie rides. - Woodlands Adventure has 2 different monkey nets open daily. - Plus tree climbing open 10:00-17:00 weekends or weekdays during school holidays. - Visit Winnie the Pooh's home in 100 Aker Wood. - Pony rides daily in our Pony Zone. - Walks by the lake and much more.

    • Aldenham Country Park activities are open from 9.00-18.00 on weekends and school holidays till October half term.
    • The exit barrier is open until 21.00, so you can stay longer in the general park if you wish. Visitors should ensure they remember the exact change for the exit barrier if leaving later than 17.00.
    • Dogs are very welcome in the farm and the park. We ask that they remain on the lead at all times and are kept under control in order to reduce stress for our animals.

Lower and Upper Farm

Farmers Play Barn

  • Ducks, Canada geese, swans, dragonflies and other animals and widlife may be viewed along this trail.
  • Wild camping is available under the Mighty Oak located in The Avenues.

Four Oak Field Trail

  • The nature trail is approximately 0.6km long.
  • Pathways and trails are made of compact earth and wood chippings, which can be very muddy depending on the weather.

100 Aker Woods

  • Pathways and trails are made of compact earth and wood chippings and can be very muddy depending on the weather.
  • There is a picnic area and several benches available.
  • There is bridge where you can play pooh sticks or you can try out the miniature orienteering course.
  • There are other activities available including tree climbing, monkey nets, camp building and bug hunting.

Pony Area

  • Pony rides are available daily.
  • Safety equipment can be provided, but suitable footwear must be worn.
  • The rides are for children over the age of 2yrs.

Outdoor Play Areas

  • There are two outdoor play areas. One is suitable for older children and opposite is the play area for younger children. Picnic areas are available so you can relax while still keeping an eye on the children playing.
