    The aircraft can carry a single piece of mobility equipment up to 32kg on its Jetstream 41 aircraft or two pieces up to 40kg on its ATE or Embraer aircraft..

Disembarking the Aircraft

  • Eastern Airways operate a schedule between Wick and Aberdeen 6 days a week
  • The accessibility of the aircraft varies according to the individual aircraft, provider or airport. Please contact the airline prior to booking for more information.
  • Disembarking from the aircraft may be by airstair and steps, or mobile ramp (Aviramp), depending upon individual needs, aircraft type, or wind and weather conditions.
  • Wheelchair users and those with mobility problems may transfer to a stair climber or aisle chair (type may vary) as required for egress from the aircraft.
  • The route from the aircraft across the apron is level with concrete and tarmac paving.
  • Please note, the planes used by Eastern Airways on the Wick route are not compatible with either the Aviramp or the Stairclimber.
