Getting To The Hospital

  • By Road View
    • Homerton University Hospital is located on Homerton Row in Hackney, East London.
      The postcode to use for Sat-Nav users is E9 6SR.
      From the west, Homerton University Hospital can be accessed via the A107 and the A102.
      From the east, Homerton University Hospital can be accessed via the B112 and Brooksby's Walk.
    • The car park for patients and visitors is located in front of the hospital.
      There is 3 hours free parking for Blue Badge holders, with no return within 2 hours.
      Car parking spaces for patients and visitors at the hospital are limited.
      On weekdays from 08:00 until 17:00, parking is limited to a small number of short stay parking bays (30 minutes and one hour).
      After 17:00 each day, weekends and bank holidays, parking is also available in the car park at the front of the hospital for all patients and visitors.
      There are also drop off and pick up bays located in front of the hospital.
  • By Bus View
    • There are 4 bus stops that serve the immediate vicinity of Homerton Hospital.
      2 are directly outside the hospital on Homerton Row / Homerton Grove - Stop D & Stop F, and 2 on adjacent streets – Wardle Street (Stop HA) and Brooksby Walk (Stop HB).
      Buses servicing these stops are the 308, 242, W15, 488, 425, 276, 394 and 236.

    Continue along the corridor until you reach the blue corridor on the left hand side.
    Follow the blue corridor past a set of double doors until you reach the end where the X-Ray 2 department is.
    Turn right and follow the corridor past the set of double doors into the lift lobby.
    Take the lift to the first floor.
    As you exit the lift, turn left and follow the blue corridor and the Elderly Care Unit - South will be on the left hand side.
  • There is ramped/sloped access to Elderly Care Unit - South.
  • Elderly Care Unit - South is approximately 16m from the blue zone lift.
  • There is a/are manual, double door(s) which may be difficult to open between the main hospital entrance and the department/service.
