Getting To (Nuclear Medicine)

  • The most accessible route from the South Wharf Road parking has uneven surfaces, a dropped kerb and a very easy slope.
  • Access to Nuclear Medicine is via the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother building entrance.

  • Nuclear Medicine is located on the third floor of the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother building, within the Imaging (X-Ray) department.
  • Nuclear Medicine is approximately 15m from the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother building main lift bank.
  • Enter via the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother building entrance and proceed ahead past the main reception desk.
    Turn right into the lift lobby and take a lift to the third floor.
    On exiting the lift, take the corridor signed to Imaging (X-Ray).
    The entrance to Imaging (X-Ray) is ahead on the right.
    Check in at the main Imaging (X-Ray) reception, then follow the black line on the floor to the left of the reception desk to get to the Nuclear Medicine waiting area. .
  • Internally the most accessible route has a lift and step-free level access.
  • Some flooring along the route is shiny and patterned.
  • There are not resting areas along the route.
  • Wayfinding signage is provided.
  • Signage is clearly visible with high contrasting colours.
