Introduction

  • Services / facilities within the building include ICSM teaching rooms and lecture theatres. This guide describes access to the lecture theatres on the floors, 8, 9 and 10; and ICSM teaching rooms on floors 7, 11, 13 and 14.
  • Services / facilities within the grounds include Charing Cross Hospital.
  • Faculties include the Imperial College School of Medicine (ICSM).
  • General information on parking for the Laboratory Block may be found in the access guide for the Reynolds Building. Access to the level concourse between the Reynolds Building and the Laboratory Block from the Reynolds Building car park is via slope or steps in front of the Reynolds Building. There is additional stepped access to the concourse from Margravine Road.

Location of Toilet/Changing Facilities

  • Accessible toilet facilities are located on the seventh floor, in the lift lobby. There is also an ambulant cubicle in the male standard toilets in the lift lobby on the seventh floor.
  • Female and male standard toilet facilities are located in the lift lobby on floors 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, and 14..

Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • Head west on Talgarth Road/A4. Keep left to continue on Talgarth Road for 0.2 miles. Use any lane and turn slightly left onto Talgarth Road/A219/A315. Use the left 2 lanes to turn slightly left onto Fulham Palace. Continue for 0.3 miles and Charing Cross Imperial College is located on the left.
    • Parking costs £2.40 per hour. Please ensure you have enough change to pay for and display your ticket in the windscreen of your vehicle.
      There are 25 disabled parking spaces on site which are free for Blue Badge holders. When using a disabled parking bay, please make sure you display a valid Blue Badge in the windscreen of your vehicle.
  • By Bus View
    • Please use the Transport for London bus map to help you find your way to hospital. The following buses stop directly outside Charing Cross Hospital Please see the links below. The nearest bus stop is located just outside the hospital site on Fulham Palace Road.
  • By Train View
    • Kensington Olympia over ground railway station is approximately a 22 minute walk from the college.
  • By Underground View
    • Baron’s Court, situated in zone two on the Piccadilly line, is the closest underground station to Charing Cross Hospital. It is approximately a nine minute walk from the hospital.
