Getting Around

  • Access View
    • There is a slight ramp, with no handrails, for access to the annexe to the rear of the building.
    • The width of the ramp is 105cm (3ft 5in).
    • This can be seen in photograph 1. At the bottom of the ramp is an automatic door that opens towards you with a width of 75cm. This can be seen in photograph 2. There is a key card reader needed to open the door at a height of 115cm.

    • There is clear signage for building facilities/areas in the foyer/reception area.
    • There is clearly written and pictorial directional signage at key points of circulation routes.
    • There is good colour contrast between the walls and floor in all areas.

    • There is an area of uneven cobbled flooring on entering the annexe as shown in photograph 3.

Common Room 2

  • There is a heavy manual door to access the common room with a width of 76cm.
