Getting to Inverness Airport
- The airport is situated a 15 minute drive from the city centre via the A96 and B9039 as signposted.
For SatNav please use the postcode IV2 7JB. - There is a 15 minute free Drop Off, and Premium and Accessible, Short Stay, and Long Stay parking.
- There is a bus stop within 150 metres of the venue.
- Stagecoach operates the "Jet" bus service to Inverness Airport with up to a 30 minute service between the Inverness city centre and the airport, and up to an hourly service from the airport to Nairn, and Elgin. They also operate the number 11 bus route between Inverness city centre and the airport, on a varied schedule through the day.
Buses run more frequently at peak times of the day.

If travelling by bus from Inverness Airport, passengers should get off at Academy Street by the Eastgate Shopping Centre for access to Inverness inter city train station. - For more information on bus times to Inverness, Nairn, and Elgin please click here (opens new tab).
- The nearest Railway Station is Inverness Airport.
- Inverness Airport Station is approximately a 15 to 20 minute walk from the airport. There is a regular bus link from the station to the terminal, Stagecoach service 11. This service is chargeable.
There are train services and links to many destinations within the Highlands as well as Inverness, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
The station is not staffed. - There is not an assisted travel handover process from the train station to the airport.

Assistance and Accessibility

- There is a member of staff available for help and assistance.
- There is no hearing assistance system.
- There is seating available.
- You can borrow or hire the following equipment: wheelchairs. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance.
- There is not a quiet space or reflection space.
- British Sign Language interpreters are not available.
- Water bowls for assistance dogs are available.
- There is not a designated assistance dog spending area.
- Passengers requiring assistance are requested to pre-book at least 48 hours before the scheduled time of departure for their flight. This booking should be made with your airline carrier, tour operator or travel agent. If this information is not made available within these time frames assistance may be limited or delayed. Carriage by the airline may also be denied.
- Best efforts will be made at all times to accommodate late bookings for assistance, but cannot be guaranteed.
- On arrival at the airport there are two special assistance call points located in the Premium Car Park 1 by the drop off zone, one by the taxi rank and one by the bus stop, with designated shelters adjacent. Alternatively, the Special Assistance waiting area is to the left of the Information Desk. Assistance is then provided at all points through to embarkation onto the aircraft.
- Accessibility on the aircraft is the responsibility of the airline and is dependent on the individual provider.
- More information can be provided at the Information Desk in the main terminal building on the right as you enter via the Departures Entrance.
