Introduction - IWM Duxford Air Shows
- At the IWM Duxford Air Shows, experience the power and excitement of the aircraft taking to the skies. The air shows give you a front row seat to some of the most exciting displays of historic and iconic aircraft such as Spitfires, Hurricanes and Lancasters.
Summary - Museum Shop (American Zone)
- The Museum Shop is located within the American Zone and is an extension of the main shop located in the Visitors Centre.
- The shop offers guests the opportunity to purchase merchandise as mementoes of the day as well as gifts.
Getting around IWM - Duxford Airshows
Shop Entrance
- There is a 200cm wide opening into the museum shop.
- There is a steep lip at the threshold of the opening.
Inside the Shop
- There is a payment counter at a height of 69cm.
- There is a portable card reader available.
- The is a patterned background behind the payment counter.
- There is room for wheelchairs to manoeuvre within the majority of the shop.
- There is a good colour contrast between the walls and floor of the shop.
- The merchandise is positioned on tables that are 74cm in height.
- There is uneven carpet flooring throughout the shop.
