Access Guide
Introduction
- The Larches is a 25 hectare (62 acre) nature reserve north-east of Detling, which is north of Maidstone in Kent. It is managed by Kent Wildlife Trust.
- This site has chalk grassland, woods and scrub. Grassland flora include autumn gentian, pyramidal orchid and broad-leaved helleborine.
- The main access point is on Pilgrims Way, which is by foot as there is no parking.
Getting Here

By Road
View
- The children's centre is approximately 1.5 miles from Junction 7 of the M20. As you exit the M20 follow the A240 (Sittingbourne Road). Take the second left onto Pilgrims Way and the access point to the venue is located along the road on the right hand side.
- There is no official car park for this venue but there is limited unmarked on-street parking available on Pilgrims Way.

The Larches Pathways
