Steps to altar

There is step-free access to the ground floor,. However, there is stepped access to all seating.
There is stepped access to the first floor galleries.
The first floor does not have a main circulation corridor, it is instead subdivided into tiered gallery seating areas.
There is much stepped access throughout, including steep flights without handrails, and narrow walkways within the first floor galleries.
There is a short slope with a very easy gradient along the left-hand walkway on the ground floor.
There is a short ramp with a steep gradient for access to the raised area to the right of the ground floor.
There is a 5cm high step onto the ramp.
There is a 14cm high step up to the pew seating areas on the ground floor.
There are 2 deep height steps up to the altar, set to deep pile carpet.
There are 2 18cm high steps to the pew seating either side of the altar.
The ground floor surfaces are hard, smooth and shiny, showing extensive mosaic patterned designs throughout.
The pew seating areas on the ground floor are polished wooden board, with some side areas laid to deep pile carpet.
The first floor is set to deep pile carpet along all circulation and pew seating areas.
There is pew seating available throughout the venue, with additional seating without armrests available as required.

The entrance area is clearly signed.
There is not a canopy or recess which provides weather protection at the entrance.

The ramp is over 150cm wide with no handrails.
The ramp bypasses the steps.
There are 6 steps with a central handrail.
The handrail is easy to grip.
The handrail covers the flight of stairs throughout its length.
The handrail extends horizontally beyond the first and last step.
The steps are clearly marked.
The steps have tactile markings at the top and bottom.
The height of the steps is between 15cm and 18cm.
The height of the highest step is 16cm.
The depth of the steps is between 30cm and 45cm.
There are double manual doors at this entrance.
The doors are permanently held open.
The width of the opening is 114cm.
The doors have a high visual contrast.
