    • Services available in the venue include: coffee and tack shop, large and small public events, education and training.

Entrance (Visitor Centre)

  • This entrance is located directly opposite the car park.

  • For some events one door remains held open and the width of the opening is 86cm.

Getting Around (Visitor Centre and Shop)

Reception

  • The reception is located directly in front of the entrance.
  • The journey time to this reception from the entrance is approximately 1 minute.
  • There is step-free level access to reception.
  • The height of the reception desk is 100cm.
  • There is a lowered section at the desk, however it is not at a suitable height for a wheelchair user .
  • There is not a hearing assistance system.
  • There is background noise in this area which varies depending on the function/event .
  • Seating available in this area includes: armchairs and chairs without armrests.
  • Furniture available in this area includes: tables.
  • Furniture in this area is changed for certain events. The table is usually replaced by armchair seating.

Eating and Drinking (Coffee Shop)

  • Location and Service View
    • After the entrance turn right then go ahead, behind the reception.
    • This area has a counter where food and drink can be ordered, colleagues who can provide assistance with ordering and numerous seating options.
    • Full table service is available on request only.
    • Menus are handheld.
    • The following dietary requirements can be catered for: gluten free, dairy free, lactose free, nut allergy, vegetarian and vegan.
    • The following are available: drinking straws, takeaway cups and takeaway cutlery.
    • There is not a hearing assistance system.
  • Order and Payment View
    • The payment counter was surveyed.
    • The counter is located to the rear, right side of the coffee shop.
    • There is step-free level access to the counter.
    • The height of the counter is 90cm.
    • There is not a lowered section at the counter.

  • The seating area is located outside of the coffee shop via one of two equally accessible doors.

Room (The Party Room)

  • The room is located next to coffee shop. This room is only open for functions where doors are permanently held open.

  • Access throughout the area may include doors permanently held open.

Outdoor Spaces (Horse and Paddock Trail)

  • The following is available in this area: woodland and farmland.
  • Outdoor areas consist of concrete or tarmac, grass and gravel.
  • There are footpaths in some areas.
  • There is step-free level access throughout the majority of areas.
  • There are some seats situated along the paths for people to rest.
  • The paths have uneven surfaces.

Toilet with Adaptations (Right Hand Transfer)

  • Location and Access View
    • The toilet surveyed is located past the coffee shop, then left to the rear building.
    • The most accessible route to the toilet has step-free level access.
    • There is step-free level access into the facility.
    • There is pictorial signage on or near the door.
    • The door opens outwards.
    • The width of the door opening is 97cm.
    • The door has a locking handle.
  • Dimensions and Features View
    • There is room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
    • There is a lateral transfer space to the right as you face the toilet, however it is obstructed.
    • The lateral transfer space is 120cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
    • There is a lever flush on the transfer side.

    • There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
