Getting To The Hospital

  • By Road View
    • St James's University Hospital is located on Beckett Street.
      The hospital can be accessed via York Road and A64(M) to the south, taking the exit on to Burmantofts Street, or from Easterly Road and the A58 to the north, taking the exit on to Harehills Road.
      For sat nav location, enter LS9 7TF.
    • Patient and visitor car parking is available within the multi-storey car park, which is located along Alma Street at the rear of the hospital grounds.
      There are clearly marked Blue Badge bays located within the multi-storey car park.
      There are also marked Blue Badge bays located in front of the main entrance to each individual wing.
      Parking is free for Blue Badge holders.

  • By Bus View
    • There are several bus stops located on Beckett Street.
      The services provided at these bus stops include the 16, 16A, 42, 49, 50 and 50A.
    • There is an onsite bus stop.
    • There is an onsite bus stop available on the roundabout at the front of the hospital grounds.
    • The onsite bus stop is sheltered and has raised benched seating available.
    • To reach the desired wing or building from the bus stop, there are road crossings. There may be slight and steep slopes on the approach.
