Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • The hospital is situated on Greetwell Road which is just to the east of Lincoln City centre.
      The hospital is clearly signposted from all major routes which include the A46, the A158 and the A15.
    • The nearest car park is located directly opposite the main entrance to the Urgent Treatment Centre.
      This car park is for blue badge parking and standard parking.
      Standard parking is also available in the main hospital car park and there is a second Blue Badge only car park to the left of Lincoln County Hospital main entrance.
      Car parking is operated using ANPR technology. Enter your registration details at one of the many pay machines located throughout the hospital when leaving the hospital.
      Blue Badge holders can park for free. You are requested to leave the clock part of your badge on display in your car and take the information part of the badge to the Urgent Treatment Centre and Accident and Emergency reception desk. Here you will be issued with a parking permit.
      There are allocated drop off points located near to all entrances to the hospital, with the exception of the Urgent Treatment Centre.

      Stay on the left side of the road and cross at the zebra crossing at the side of Accident and Emergency (photographs 5-8).

      After crossing the road there is a slight upwards slope towards the car park (photograph 9).
      Turn left at the end of the slope and follow the footpath running along the front of the car park.
      The slope and car park both consist of tarmac.
      The path is narrow, there are lampposts placed along the path, narrowing it's width to 85cm (photograph 10).
      At the end of the path, there is a dropped kerb leading to the car park (photograph 11).
      The dropped kerb creates an easy slope running across the path from left to right.
      Once you have passed the dropped kerb, follow the path to the left and you will come to a zebra crossing (photographs 12 and 13).
      Go across the crossing which has a dropped kerb with tactile paving at either side.
      The Urgent Treatment Centre is then ahead (photograph 14).
