Summary

  • This is an inpatient unit.
  • Services within the building include: Older adults aged 65 and over (or condition appropriate) with mental health problems such as mild to moderate dementia, depression and psychotic illnesses who cannot be treated and supported appropriately at home or in an alternative setting. Inpatient services cover Grantham, Boston, Lincoln and is split into inpatient wards for functional and dementia based services. Referrals are through community mental health teams, liaison and crisis services. The service provide a high standard of assessment and compassionate care in a safe and therapeutic setting, and offer a range of therapeutic, culturally sensitive and person centred care to support recovery and a return to the community as soon as possible. The service is provided by a team of multi-skilled mental health professionals including nursing Staff, medical Staff, Occupational Therapists and Psychologists, providing care and support to older adults. Care is provided through the Care Programme Approach. Alzheimer's and Dementia.

  • By Road View
    • Witham Court is located south of Lincoln, between the A15 and A46.
      From the north, east, and west take the A46 Lincoln Bypass heading towards Newark. Exit the A46 towards North Hykeham, on the A1434. Turn right onto Moor Lane, signposted Town Council Offices. Turn left onto Lincoln Road. Take the 4th right onto Fen Lane, signposted Witham Court. Witham Court is located on the right at the end of the Fen Lane.
      From the south take the A15 towards Lincoln. Turn left onto the A1434 towards Newark. Continue along the A1434 and bear left onto Hykeham Road. Continue along Hykeham Road and proceed onto Lincoln Road. Turn left onto Fen Lane, signposted Witham Court. Witham Court is located on the right at the end of the Fen Lane.
