    • Loch Achray is an informal campsite offering the opportunity to camp on a small, beautifully located site with basic facilities. In a sheltered spot on the shores of Loch Achray, it offers 17 pitches for tents through a mixture of open and woodland camping.
    • Facilities available in the venue include: Standard and accessible toilets, washing up facilities and water.

  • Getting In and Around View
    • There is step-free access via a slight slope at the most accessible entrance.
    • There is no main entrance for the building.
    • The following areas have stepped access: some camping pitches.
    • The following areas have step-free access via slopes: some camping pitches.
    • There are no doors along circulation routes.
    • Access throughout may include uneven surfaces and narrow walkways.
  • Getting Help and Assistance View
    • Seating is not available.
    • There is not a hearing assistance system.
    • Staff receive the following training: Equality and Diversity Training.

Toilet and Changing Facilities

  • Toilet Facilities View
    • There are 2 toilets with adaptations.
    • The toilets with adaptations are located in the main toilet block, at both ends.
    • All toilets with adaptations have a right hand transfer space.
    • Gender neutral standard toilet facilities with stepped access are located in the main toilet block.
    • The step into the standard toilets is 4cm at the threshold.

Parking

Reception Hut

  • Location View
    • The reception is located to the left of the parking area.
    • The distance from the parking area is 5m.
  • Route View
    • The most accessible route to the reception has a slight slope.
    • There are no doors to open along the most accessible route.
    • This route has uneven surfaces.
  • Access View
    • There is step-free access via a slope to reception.
    • The slope has a slight gradient.
    • There is rubber matting next to the reception hut, this is 2cm high.
    • The height of the reception desk is 92cm.
    • There is not a lowered section at the desk.
    • The reception has windows which may affect the ability of someone to lip read.
    • There is not a hearing assistance system.
    • The camping reception counter is a window.
    • Visitors do not enter the reception.
    • The staff member can exit to speak to the visitor, when required.

Toilet with Adaptations (Right Side - Right Hand Transfer)

  • The access road around the site does not have designated crossing points.

  • These allocated pitches are on decking, behind the toilet facilities.
