Toilet and Changing Facilities (Level 2)
- There are 2 toilets with adaptations.
- Toilets with adaptations are located at right side and centre back of level 2.
- All toilets with adaptations have a right hand transfer space.
- Step-free male and female toilet facilities are located at right side and centre back of level 2.
- Step-free standard toilets which include facilities for ambulant disabled people are located in the male and female standard toilets, at right side and centre back of level 2.
- Parent and baby changing facilities are located at right side and centre back of level 2.
Entrance
- This entrance is located at the front of the North Terminal building, Level 2.
- The approach to the entrance has posts.
- There is step-free level access at the entrance.
- The entrance area is clearly signed.
- There is a canopy or recess which provides weather protection at this entrance.
- There are no help points available.
- There are double automatic doors which opens by sliding.
- The width of the opening is 220cm.
- The doors have a low colour contrast.
- There is a second set of automatic doors which open by sliding.
- The width of the opening is 186cm.
- The second doors have a low colour contrast.
- There are similar entrances available to access the check in area.
Lift
- The lift is located to the left and right sides of the main concourse.
- The floors which are accessible by the lift surveyed are 0, 1, 2.
- The lift does have a recommended turning space (150cm x 150cm) in front of it.
- The lift door has a low contrast.
- The external lift control buttons have tactile markings and a medium colour contrast.
- All of the external lift controls are at the recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm).
- The lift door opening width is 160cm.
- The internal dimensions of the lift are 218cm x 268cm.
- The internal lift control buttons have tactile markings and a high colour contrast.
- All of the internal lift controls are at the recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm).
- Internally the lift has: a mirror to aid reversing, a visual floor indicator, an audible announcer and a list of floor services/facilities.

Escalator (Level 1 and 2)
- The escalator is located in the centre of levels 1 and 2.

- The foot (bottom) and head (top) of the escalator are clearly marked.
- Lighting levels are moderate to good.
Check-In Area

Counter (Service Centre)
- The counter is located towards the front of Level 2.
- The counter is approximately 10m from the Level 2 entrance.

- The counter has patterned backgrounds which may affect the ability of someone to lip read.
- There is sufficient space to write or sign documents on the counter.

Special Assistance (Level 2)
- The passenger services counter is located at the right side of level 2.
- The passenger services counter is approximately 25m from the Level 2 Entrance.

- The lowered section of the counter is at a height of 82cm.
