Entrance (Main Entrance)
- This entrance is located to the side of the hospital, diagonally to the left as you face the Blue Badge bays.
- The approach to the entrance has uneven surfaces.
- The entrance area is clearly signed.
- There is a canopy or recess which provides weather protection at the entrance.
- There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance.
- The ramp has a slight gradient.
- The ramp is over 150cm wide with a handrail on the left going up.
- There are double automatic doors at this entrance.
- The doors open by sliding.
- The width of the opening is 126cm.
- The doors have a low visual contrast.
- There is a second set of double automatic doors .
- The second set of doors open by sliding.
- The width of the opening is 130cm.
- The second set of doors have a low visual contrast.
- There is step-free access via ramp as you enter.
- The ramp has a slight gradient.
- The ramp is over 150cm wide with no handrails.
- The second ramp is located between the first and second sets of doors at the entrance.
- This entrance brings you onto Level 2 of the hospital. .
Reception (Main Hospital Reception)
- The reception is located to the right as you enter the hospital through the Main Entrance.
- The distance from the Main Entrance is 5m.
- There is step-free level access to reception.
- The height of the reception desk is 110cm.
- There is a lowered section at the desk.
- The height of the lowered section is 73cm.
- The reception has glazed screens.
- There is a clearly signed fixed hearing assistance system.
