Introduction

Cross to the central reservation and then turn left

  • There is a tactile drop kerb to access the reservation
  • There is uneven brick block paving with the occasional manhole cover on this central reservation.

After 50m, cross over again using the pedestrian crossing

  • There is a dropped kerb at this crossing.
  • There is tactile paving and a rotating cone underneath the push button box.

Turn left and cross the road onto Arundel Street

  • There is another pedestrian crossing.
  • There is a dropped kerb at this crossing.
  • There is tactile paving and a rotating cone underneath the push button box.
  • The surface of the road is tarmac with traffic approaching from the left.

Turn immediately right down Arundel Street for 95m

  • There is an easy slope leading down Arundel Street.
  • There are steps to the left of the pavement with tactile paving in front of them.
  • The surface of the pavement is block paving with the occasional manhole cover.
  • After 95m you will reach Maltravers Street.

Cross Maltravers Street

  • There is a dropped kerb on either side of Maltravers Street.
  • There is no tactile paving.
  • The surface of the road is tarmac.

Continue down Arundel Street for 65m

  • Continue down the easy slope after 26m will encounter an unnamed service road which is tarmac and has drop kerbs on either side after which keep going until you reach Temple Place.
  • There surface is block paving with the occasional manhole cover.
  • After this continue down Arundel Street until you reach Temple Place.

Cross Temple Place

  • Turn left and head immediately to the pedestrian crossing across Temple Place.
  • There are controls at the traffic lights including a rotating cone.
  • The surface of the road is tarmac.
  • Traffic approaches from either side.
  • There are drop kerbs on either side of the road.

Temple Place to Victoria Embankment

  • Turn right and head to the Victoria Embankment Gardens.
  • The surface of the pavement is block pavement.
  • Upon reaching the gardens turn left head into the gardens and head down the easy slope to Victoria Embankment.

Turn right and then right again and head to Temple Station

  • The surface of the pavement is block paving with the occasional manhole cover.
  • After this head through the bollards which have a width of 120cm.
  • After passing the bollards the Station will be located to your left.
