Keppel Street

Bying Place - Gordon Square - Bedford Way Crossing

  • Continue ahead on Bying Place.

  • Bying Place merges with Gordon Square, continue on Gordon Square.
  • There are access roads for Woburn Square that cross the pathway.

  • Continue to the Bedford Way Crossing, this is a traffic light crossing with tactile paving on both sides (photographs 8, 9, 10, 13, 14 and 15).

Tavistock Square - Woburn Place Crossing

  • Continue ahead on Tavistock Square.
  • The surface of the block paving is uneven.
  • Continue to the Woburn Place Crossing, this is a traffic light crossing with tactile paving on both sides (photographs 3, 4 and 5).

Tavistock Place - TP9

  • Turn immediately left and take the traffic light crossing to the opposite side of Tavistock Place. There are dropped kerbs with tactile paving on both sides of the crossing.
  • Continue ahead on Tavistock Place, there are two service roads that cross the pathway, they have dropped kerbs on each side with no tactile paving. (photograph 5)
  • TP9 is located approximately 75m ahead on the left. It is accessed via steps. (photograph 6).

TP9 - TP1

  • From TP9 continue straight ahead along Tavistock Place, a number of service roads cross the pathway for TP1. The first has dropped kerbs on both sides with tactile paving, the second service road has no tactile paving.(Photograph 1 & 2)
  • The block paving surface is uneven.
  • There is a temporary tunnel created due to building works, it has a width of over 75cm.
  • The main entrance to TP1 is located after the tunnel on the left, it is accessed via a slight slope. (Photograph 4).
