Overview

  • Getting In and Around View
    • There is step-free access via ramp at the most accessible entrance.
    • The most accessible entrance is on the Nursery Side of the pavilion. The approach to this side from the North Gate has a steep slope. This will also be used by people going to and coming from the Compton and Grand Stands.
    • The approach from the opposite side, by the Indoor Cricket Centre, is level. This will be used by people going to and coming from the Edrich and Mound Stands.
    • There is step-free level access throughout.
    • Access throughout may include manual doors.

    • The toilets with adaptations are located at either end of the pavilion.
    • The transfer space varies between left and right in the toilets with adaptations.
    • Female and male step-free standard toilet facilities are located at either end of the pavilion.

Nursery Side Entrance

  • This entrance is located on the side of the pavilion facing the Nursery Ground, in the corner closest to the North Gate.
  • The entrance area is not clearly signed.
  • There is a canopy or recess which provides weather protection at the entrance.
  • There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance.
  • The ramp has a slight gradient.
  • The ramp is over 150cm wide.
  • There are handrails on both sides.
  • There is a single manual door.
  • The door opens towards you.
