Access Guide
Access To (Internal Entrance to the Room)
- WAVB01 is located on the lower ground level of the Wavy Top building, off the rear stairwell.
- There is an external entrance directly into the room via a steep ramp and a single manual door.
- The room can also be accessed internally from within the Wavy Top building by using the stairs from the Level G and two sets of manual doors.

- There is written text signage on or near the entrance.
- There is step-free level access into WAVB01 from the corridor and the external entrance.
- There is a single manual door which opens away from you.
- The door has a locked extension leaf.
- The width of the opening is 75cm.

- There are a second set of double manual doors which open towards you.
- The width of the opening is 124cm.
- The second set of doors have a high visual contrast.
Entrance (External Entrance into the Room)
- This entrance is located at the front left of the Wavy Top building.
- The approach to the entrance has uneven surfaces.
- The entrance area is not clearly signed.
- There is not a canopy or recess which provides weather protection at the entrance.
- There is step-free access via slope at the entrance.
- The slope has a steep gradient.
- There is a key fob/card reader at a height of 105cm.
- There is a single manual door at this entrance.
- The door opens towards you.
- The width of the opening is 77cm.
- There is a small lip on the threshold of the opening.
- The door has a high visual contrast.
- There is a push pad or push button to exit at a height of 100cm.
- There is step-free level access as you enter.
Teaching
- This is a lecture theatre.
