Overview

Getting Inside

  • The approach to the building is step-free and level.
  • Edward Barnsley Building has three entrances.
    All three entrances provide step-free access to the ground floor.
    There are double automatic doors at all three entrances.
  • The entrances are signed as Edward Barnsley and Creative Arts.
  • The main entrance at the front of the building provides step-free access via slight slopes to the ground floor.
  • The front left entrance is located off Radmoor Road and has step-free access via steep ramp.
    The rear entrance is located off the university service road at the rear of the building and has step-free level access.

Getting Around

  • There is step-free level access throughout the building on all floors.
  • There are two level changes on the first floor, however these can both be overcome by platform lifts.
  • Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are hard and smooth, with some having a shiny finish.
  • There are resting areas in some corridor and lobby areas with a mixture of seating.
  • Wayfinding signage is not provided in this building.
  • There are manual doors in some corridor and lobby areas.
