Access To (Departure Gates - 201 to 208)

    • There are 15+ steps between floors.

    • The going of the step(s) is/are between the recommended 30cm and 45cm.
    • The steps are clearly marked.
    • There is a/are handrail(s) at the step(s).
    • The steps have a handrail on both sides.
    • Handrails are at the recommended height (90cm-100cm).
    • Handrails do cover the flight of stairs throughout its length.

Getting To Departure Gates (201 to 208)

  • After exiting the lift from the departure lounge, there is clear directional signage leading to departure gates 201 to 208. There is a slight slope leading from the lift corridor to the walkway which passes at the rear of the security check area. As you exit the security check area there is an entrance to temporary corridor which is clearly signed above as gates 201-208 As you go along this corridor there are two slight slopes which are clearly marked with yellow tape either side. If the tape was not there they would hardly be noticed.
  • The type of flooring along the route is vinyl.
  • There is flooring along the route which is shiny and could cause issues with glare or look slippery to some people.
  • There are not travelators available along the route.
  • Assistance vehicles are available.
  • There are resting/seating areas along the route.
  • Wayfinding signage is available along the route.

  • Some signage still says 201 -211. There is construction work going on so some occasional noises could happen at any time.

Departure Gates (201 to 208)
