About National Ice Centre and Motorpoint Arena

National Ice Centre and Motorpoint Arena are located together in Nottingham and both guarantee an exciting day or night out for anyone!

National Ice Centre is an exciting indoor ice skating rink guaranteed to provide a fun day out for family and friends and also home to the Nottingham Panthers Ice Hockey Team.

The centre offer ice skating opportunities for people with disabilities and their families. Depending on individual requirements, the ice can be accessed on skates, in a wheelchair or in one of our purpose built sledges and the ice rink can be hired on a private basis for groups. The ice centre also offer sensory tours for customers who may want to familiarise themselves with the venue before going skating.

The Motorpoint Arena is a 10,000 capacity arena and entertainment venue hosting singers, dancers, boxing, comedians, concerts, sitcoms and more!

The Motorpoint Arena work closely with ‘Attitude Is Everything’ who help improve disabled people’s access to live music by working with audiences and artists to implement best practice in the UK. In addition to this the arena also has access cards which are designed to let businesses know the specific needs of disabled visitors by translating requirements into symbols.
