Equipment and Resources to Borrow
- You can borrow or hire the following equipment: manual wheelchairs. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.

- Powered mobility vehicles cannot be borrowed or hired.
Route to (Waterwheel)
- From the Waterfall view point continue on the path to the Turbine House (closed to the public) and turn right through an archway.
Then turn right down a wooden ramp, with a width of 132cm.
The waterwheel will be on your right. - The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope.
- Path surfaces along the route are gravel and paving stones.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no accessible shuttle to this area.
Outdoor Spaces
- This information is for the access point located after you enter the site.
- There is step-free level access into the area.
- There is a gate at the surveyed access point which is permanently held open.
- The following outdoor facilities are available: remains of tinwork buildings, a waterwheel and waterfall.
- The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: block paving, gravel and bonded gravel.
- Footpaths are available in some of the outdoor space.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is step-free level access around some of the area.
- There are slight ramps/slopes without handrails in the main areas .
- There are slopes on the route to the waterfall and waterwheel.
- There are some bench seats situated along the paths for people to rest.
