Route to (The Forge)

Entrance (The Forge)

  • The entrance surveyed is located at the front of the building.
  • There is step-free access via slope at the entrance.

  • There are double manual doors which are permanently open.

  • There is a second manual door which is permanently open.
  • The width of the opening is 90cm.
  • There is a small lip on the threshold of the entrance with a height of less than 1.5cm.

Hikes and Trails

  • The trail is approximately 1.4 miles to the beach and back.
  • Turn left as you leave the car park and follow the road round to the right.
    Take the first road on your right after the bend, with a stream on your right.
    At end of the road, go ahead through a closed gate, which has a width of 110cm.
    Follow this path to the beach, returning on the same route.
  • The hike is open 24 hours.
  • None of the paths are lit at night.
  • The route includes the following surfaces: tarmac, grass, gravel and wood.
  • The route is clearly signposted.
