About Ardress House - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Sitting in the County Armagh countryside, Ardress House features a Visitor Reception, picnic area, House, historical buildings with exhibits, grounds, gardens, animal enclosures, play park, and woodland trails.

There is car parking on the estate, with designated bays for Blue Badge holders in the main car park, near to the Visitor Reception.

The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found in the Visitor Reception.

The Rose Garden offers step-free level access into and throughout it. The grounds offer step-free level access into them and through some areas. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Some routes around the property have ramps/slopes and very uneven cobbled surfaces, so a manual wheelchair and an off-road/all-terrain mobility scooter can be borrowed from the Visitor Reception. Sensory packs are also available. The National Trust recommends booking these items in advance.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
