About Attingham Park - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Attingham Park sits in the Shropshire countryside and features a Visitor Reception, café, picnic area, Mansion, shops, grounds, Walled Garden, play area, and hike/trail routes.

There is car parking on the estate, with designated parking bays for Blue Badge holders.

The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found next to the Mansion and the bookshop. A changing places facility is also available next to the Mansion.

There is step-free level access into and throughout the picnic area, Walled Garden, play area, and The Stables Shop. The café and The Grooms’ Bookshop offer step-free level access at their entrances and in some areas, and the Mansion offers step-free level access via lift. Other points of interest across the site are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Some routes around the estate cover long distances, so a visitor shuttle is available, and a manual wheelchair, off-road/all-terrain mobility scooter, and a tramper can be borrowed from the Visitor Reception. Sensory packs are also available. The National Trust recommends booking these items in advance.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
