About Basildon Park - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Located in the Berkshire countryside, Basildon Park features a Visitor Reception, tearoom, shops, House, play area, picnic area, parkland, and formal gardens.

There is car parking on site, with designated bays for Blue Badge holders.

The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found opposite the Visitor Reception, and near to the tearoom.

The gift shop and picnic area have step-free level access into and throughout. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Routes around the property have steep ramps/slopes and uneven surfaces, so a shuttle is available to take visitors around part of the site, and manual wheelchairs can be borrowed from the Visitor Reception. Sensory packs are also available. The National Trust recommends booking these items in advance.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
