    About Bateman's - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Situated within the Sussex Weald, Bateman's features a Visitor Reception, shops, tearoom, House, gardens, historical building museums, and estate with picnic and play areas.

There is car parking on site, with designated bays for Blue Badge holders near to the entrance.

The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found next to the Visitor Reception.

The tearoom picnic area has step-free level access into and throughout. The gardens and estate offer step-free level access into them and through some areas. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Routes around the property have ramps/slopes, steps, and some uneven surfaces, so manual wheelchairs can be borrowed from the Visitor Reception. The National Trust recommends booking these in advance.
