About Belton Estate - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Belton Estate sits in the Lincolnshire countryside and features a mansion, parkland, formal gardens, indoor and outdoor play areas, cafes, and shops.

There is car parking at the estate with designated parking bays for Blue Badge holders next to the Visitor Reception Building, as well as in the main car park.

The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found in all main areas except the Mansion.

The mansion has a number of steps to enter, with a stairclimber to assist entry to the ground floor. Access to the first floor is by stairs, however a virtual tour giving visitors the opportunity to experience the upper rooms is available.

The gardens have slight and steep ramps to access the Italian Garden and Dutch Garden. There is step-free access throughout the parkland.

There is a large outdoor adventure playground which includes adapted play equipment and a food and drink outlet.

The Stable Yard holds the main Stables Café with indoor and outdoor seating, an indoor playground with café, a gift shop, and a bookshop.

A number of the main routes around the property have cobbled or uneven surfaces, so an adapted shuttle is available to take visitors around the site, and powered mobility vehicles can be borrowed from the Visitor Reception Building. Sensory packs are also available from the Visitor Reception Building.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
