About Beningbrough Hall, Gallery and Gardens - National Trust

Accessibility Overview 

Beningbrough, located in the North Yorkshire countryside, features a Visitor Reception, shops, gardens, restaurant, picnic areas, Hall and Gallery, Victorian Laundry Exhibit, and a play area.

There is car parking near the Visitor Reception, with designated parking bays for Blue Badge holders.

The site offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found near the Visitor Reception, in Beningbrough Hall, and the Gallery.

The Visitor Reception, main shop, Walled Garden Restaurant, and picnic areas all have step-free level access into, and throughout. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Main routes around the property have steep ramps/slopes and cobbled or uneven surfaces, so manual wheelchairs and powered mobility vehicles can be borrowed from the Visitor Reception building. The National Trust recommends booking these in advance.
