About Birmingham Back to Backs - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Birmingham Back to Backs sit in Birmingham centre and feature a Visitor Reception, historic back to back houses, a shop and exhibition rooms. Visits must be booked in advance and are by guided tour only.

Limited on-street parking, including Blue Badge bays, is available outside the property.

A toilet with adaptations for disabled people can be found in the courtyard.

Access to points of interest throughout the site is via ramps/slopes or steps.

Routes are uneven in places due to carpet, paving/tiles and floorboards. The tour can be adapted to avoid inaccessible areas, and a manual wheelchair can be borrowed from the Visitor Reception. The National Trust recommends booking the wheelchair in advance.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
