Route to (Stamp Shop)
- Follow the path to the right as you exit the visitor reception. Once you reach the road turn right and follow it until you come across a path with two bollards. Continue down that path to the main property gates. Proceed through the gates and continue ahead and the farmyard entrance will be on the right, just before the stables. After passing through the entrance, the stamp shop is on the right.
- The route to the area is step-free via a steep ramp/slope.
- Path surfaces along the route are gravel and paving stones.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is no accessible shuttle to this area.
Equipment and Resources to Borrow
- You can borrow or hire the following equipment: manual wheelchairs. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.
- Sensory packs can be borrowed which include: ear defenders, fidget toys and magnifying glass.

- You can borrow or hire the following mobility vehicles: off-road/all-terrain mobility scooters. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance.

Shop (Stamp Shop)
- Access into the shop is via a step.
- There is 1 step, which is unmarked, with no handrails.
- The door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the door opening is 63cm.
- Internally the door has a low colour contrast.
- The majority of aisle widths are under 150cm.
- All flooring in the shop is smooth and even.
- Some of the flooring has a very shiny finish, which could cause issues with glare or look slippery to some people.
- There is step-free level access around the shop.
- There is no (or very little) background noise here.
- Lighting levels are moderate to good.
- There is step-free level access to the counter.
- The height of the counter is 73cm.
- The counter does not have a hearing assistance system.
- Services/facilities available in the shop include: a portable card machine for payment.
