About Bodnant Garden - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Bodnant Garden sits near to Colwyn Bay and features a Visitor Reception, tearoom, café, kiosk, arboretum, gardens with historical architecture, meadows, play area and picnic area.

There is car parking on site, with designated bays for Blue Badge holders.

The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found at the rear of the tearoom, near to the Dell Kiosk, and near to the garden centre (non-National Trust).

The Magnolia Café and Dell Kiosk have step-free level access into and throughout. The Formal Garden and Furnace Meadow offer step-free level access into them and through some areas. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Main routes around the property have steep ramps/slopes and gravel surfaces, so manual wheelchairs and a mountain trike can be borrowed from the Visitor Reception. A wheeled walker is also available from the car park. The National Trust recommends booking these items in advance.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
