Equipment and Resources to Borrow
- You can borrow or hire the following equipment: manual wheelchairs. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.

- The tramper can be borrowed from Visitor Welcome and is run by Countryside Mobility.
You can get a yearly membership for £10. Members can hire for free.

Route to (Ox Yard Second-hand Bookshops and Craft Outlets)
- From the Visitor Welcome take the paved path going right.
Turn left onto a tarmac path.
Turn right through an open gateway and take the next available right down a sloped path.
Turn right again and the Bookshops and Craft Outlets will be on the right. - The route to the area is step-free via a steep ramp/slope.
- Path surfaces along the route are tarmac, cobbles and paving stones.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is an accessible shuttle which can take visitors to this area.
Shop (Bookshop)
- Access into the shop is via a steep ramp/slope.
- The door is manual, opens outwards and has a colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- There is step-free level access around the shop.
- There is no (or very little) background noise here.
- An honesty box is available for payments. Alternatively, payment can be taken at the main shop.
