About Castle Drogo - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

With views over the Teign Gorge in Devon, Castle Drogo features a castle, chapel, gardens, hike/trail routes, and a Visitor Centre with café and shop.

There is car parking on the estate, with designated bays for Blue Badge holders.

The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found in the Visitor Centre.

Access to points of interest throughout the estate is via ramps/slopes or steps.

Some routes around the estate cover long distances and include ramps/slopes, so a visitor shuttle is available to transport visitors to some areas, and a manual wheelchair and trampers can be borrowed from the Visitor Centre. The National Trust recommends booking these in advance.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
