Route to (the Kitchen Garden)

  • After passing through Visitor Reception, bear left then pass through the gap between the buildings.
    Go straight ahead then turn right before the House. Follow the path and the Kitchen Garden will be straight ahead.
  • The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope.
  • Path surfaces along the route are gravel and cobbles.
  • The majority of the paths are not wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Outdoor Spaces

  • This information is for the access point located on the route to the castle after passing through Visitor Reception.
  • Access into the area is via a slight ramp/slope.
  • There is an easy open gate at the surveyed access point which opens away from you (push).
  • The gate is not self-closing.
  • The gate has a latch lock.
  • The width of the gap is 102cm.
  • The following outdoor facilities are available: gardens.
  • The outdoor facilities also include: a picnic area.
  • The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: grass and gravel.
  • Footpaths are available in all of the outdoor space.
