Route

  • The route takes approximately 40 minutes.
  • From the car park head into the Laundry Yard and cross down into the Turning Yard. Go across the Turning Yard and into the Pleasure Grounds taking the path on the left at the side of the cafĂ©. The path is a little uneven here and slopes slightly downwards. There is a large lake off to the right.
Follow the path to the Chapel and go around to the left hand side of the building. The path now continues into an area surrounded by trees, and there are some bench seats along here.
At the T-junction in the path turn left and go through the gate, which is 94cm wide and permanently held open, and turn left again to follow the pathway along the Paddocks. As you follow this path there are some items of dog agility equipment. Keep going along this path until you reach a large open gate and 2 paths to the left. Take the first of these paths onto the tree-lined avenue to the Walled Kitchen Garden.
After visiting the Walled Kitchen Garden, come back along the tree-lined avenue and turn right onto the wide path which leads back to the car park.
  • The route is not lit.
  • The route includes the following surfaces: tarmac, paving slabs and compacted gravel.
  • Accessible and standard toilets are available in the Turning Yard and Walled Kitchen Garden.
A Changing Place is available in the Turning Yard.
