    Accessibility Overview

Located in the Devonshire countryside, Compton Castle feature a Visitor Reception, castle, chapel, gardens, and picnic area.

There is car parking on the estate with unmarked grass parking bays however, a roped off area may be made available to Blue Badge holders.

The estate offers standard toilet facilities.

There is step-free level access to some ground floor areas within the castle. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Main routes around the estate are uneven in places due to gravel and natural surfaces, so a manual wheelchair is available to hire from the Visitor Reception. The National Trust recommends booking this in advance.
