    All items are free to borrow but a donation is welcomed.

Route to (Croome Court)

  • Pass through Visitor Reception then bear left and pass the gift shop on the right.
    Turn left at the junction then turn left and follow the path until you reach the church.
    Turn right and follow the path for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach a bridge. Bear left just before reaching the bridge then turn left and follow the next path.
    Continue to follow the path to reach Croome Court. The total distance of the route is just under 1 mile.
  • The route to the area is step-free via a steep ramp/slope.
  • Path surfaces along the route are gravel.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is an accessible shuttle which can take visitors to this area.

Entrance

  • The entrance surveyed is located at the front of the building.
  • There is stepped access at the entrance.
  • There are 10+ steps, which are unmarked, with no handrails.
  • Steps are split with a resting area.
  • Some of the steps are not at the recommended height (between 15cm - 18cm).
  • There is a single manual door (with a locked extension leaf) which opens away from you.
  • The width of the opening is 124cm.
  • There is a second set of manual doors which are permanently open.

Tour

  • The tour is self-guided but volunteers/staff are available to provide additional information.

Standard Toilet (Ladies' - Basement)

  • Access into the toilet is via a slight ramp/slope.
  • The ramp is between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
  • The door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
  • The width of the door opening is 84cm.
  • The width of the widest cubicle door opening is 74cm.
  • There is an ambulant cubicle available with horizontal grab rails on both sides and a vertical grab rail on the right.
