Equipment and Resources to Borrow

Route to (Croome Court Coffee House)

  • Croome Court Coffee House is located in the basement of Croome Court.
    After entering Croome Court go through the pillars ahead then immediately turn left.
    Follow the corridor then take the stairs on the left down to the basement.
    At the bottom of the stairs turn sharp right, follow the corridor and the entrance to the Coffee House will be on the left.
  • The route to the area includes more than 3 steps with a handrail.

Entrance

  • The entrance surveyed is located on the basement floor of Croome Court.
  • There is step-free level access at the entrance.
  • There is a single manual door which opens away from you.
  • The width of the opening is 90cm.

Eating and Drinking

  • This is a cafĂ© which serves light snacks.
  • There is a counter where food and drink can be ordered.
  • Staff can provide assistance and offer service to tables.
  • Menu types include: written wall menus.
  • Menus are easy to read (large clear font with contrasting colours).
  • The following are available here: drinking straws and a portable card machine for payment.
  • Lighting levels are moderate to good.
  • There is background noise here which varies, depending on the time of day.
  • There is not a hearing assistance system.
  • There is a counter over 85cm high without a tray rail.
  • The counter is 92cm high.
  • There is not a section of the counter at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
