Equipment and Resources to Borrow
- You can borrow or hire the following equipment: manual wheelchairs. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.

Route to (the Deer Park)
- From the Visitor Reception, follow the main path to the gate.
The Deer Park path starts after the gate. - The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope.
- Path surfaces along the route are concrete and gravel.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is a shuttle which can take visitors to this area, but wheelchair users will need to transfer into it.
Outdoor Spaces
- This information is for the access point located at the start of Deer Park.
- There is step-free level access into the area.
- There is a gate at the surveyed access point which opens towards you (pull).
- The gate is self-closing.
- The width of the gap is 110cm.
- The following outdoor facilities are available: parkland and woodland.
- The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: concrete or tarmac, grass, gravel and compact earth.
- Footpaths are available in some of the outdoor space.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- There is step-free level access around some of the area.
- There are steep ramps/slopes without handrails and slight ramps/slopes without handrails in the main areas .
