You can borrow or hire the following equipment: a manual wheelchair. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.
Sensory packs can be borrowed which include: ear defenders, fidget toys, sunglasses, activity sheets and soft toy.
You can borrow these from the visitor centre. View more information about booking and collection of equipment.
The wheelchair is only available for use around the visitor area.
All electric scooters and tramplers are loaned from the Westgate reception.
An accessible shuttle can be used to transport visitors to certain areas.

The restaurant is located in the right hand corner of the visitor centre courtyard.
The route to the area is step-free level.
Path surfaces along the route are cobbles, paving stones and bonded gravel.
The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
There is an accessible shuttle which can take visitors to this area.
The shuttle is available on demand from Westgate Car Park and Studley Royal Car Park.

Menus are easy to read (large clear font with contrasting colours).
The following are available here: drinking straws, takeaway cups, two handled cups, easy grip cutlery, a portable card machine for payment and large-handled mugs.
Lighting levels are varied.

There is a counter over 85cm high with a tray rail.

The seating area does not have: a priority table and a mixture of chairs with and without armrests.

There are tables, high tables, long tables and bench seats.
No chairs have armrests on both sides.
Adapted picnic tables are not available.
The distance between the floor and the underside of the lowest picnic table is 72cm.
The surface height of the lowest table is 72cm.
The surface height of the highest table is 75cm.
There is step-free level access around the area.
Some of the surface in the picnic area in the area is smooth and even.
Where the flooring is not smooth or even, this is due to uneven paving/tiles and grass.
