About Giant's Causeway - National Trust
Accessibility Overview
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Giant's Causeway sits on the coastline of County Antrim, and features a Visitor Centre, café, picnic areas, and hike/trail routes to and along the Causeway stones.
There are three car park areas on site, with designated bays for Blue Badge holders in Car Park 1, and in the Causeway Coast Way Car Park.
The site offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found in Car Park 1, and in the Visitor Centre. A Changing Places Facility is also available in the Visitor Centre.
The Visitor Centre, with café, picnic area, and exhibits, offer step-free level access into them and through some areas. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.
External routes around the site have ramps/slopes and uneven surfaces, so an accessible shuttle is available to take visitors to some areas. Manual wheelchairs, mountain trikes, and mobility scooters can also be borrowed from the Visitor Centre. Sensory packs are also available. The National Trust recommends booking these items in advance.
