Equipment and Resources to Borrow

Route to (the Gardens)

  • From the Visitor Reception continue ahead through the gateway.
    Follow the path round to the shops and stableyard.
    Turn right and continue along the path.
    At the end of the path turn right and continue to the entrance to the gardens and hall.
  • The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope.
  • Path surfaces along the route are compact earth and tarmac.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Outdoor Spaces (Gardens)

  • This information is for the access point located on the far right of the picnic area.
  • There is step-free level access into the area.
  • There is a gate at the surveyed access point which is permanently held open.
  • The following outdoor facilities are available: gardens.
  • The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: grass, gravel and compact earth.
  • Footpaths are available in all of the outdoor space.
  • The majority of the paths are not wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is step-free level access around the area.
  • There are some bench seats situated along the paths for people to rest.
