About Hidcote - National Trust
Accessibility Overview
Hidcote sits in the Cotswold Hills and features a Visitor Reception, shops, plant centre, café, picnic areas, Manor House, exhibit spaces and gardens.
There is car parking on site, with designated bays for Blue Badge holders.
The site offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found near to the plant centre, and near to the café.
The second-hand bookshop, plant centre, Visitor Reception picnic area, and Thatched Barn exhibit space all have step-free level access into and throughout. The gardens, North Side Garden picnic area, and car park picnic area offer step-free level access into them and through some areas, and the café offers step-free level access to the counter and to some of the seating. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.
Routes around the property have ramps/slopes and gravel, cobbled, and some uneven surfaces, so a manual wheelchair and mobility scooters can be borrowed from the Visitor Reception. Sensory packs are also available. The National Trust recommends booking these items in advance.
