About Hinton Ampner - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

With views of the South Downs, Hinton Ampner features a Visitor Reception, shops, café, House, gardens, and parkland with hikes and trails.

There is car parking at the estate, with designated parking bays for Blue Badge holders.

The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found near the café.

The courtyard giftshop has step-free level access into and throughout it. The café accessible entrance offers step-free level access to the café counter. Other points of interest, including café seating, are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

A number of routes around the property have muddy, gravel or uneven surfaces with ramps/slopes, so manual wheelchairs can be borrowed from Visitor Reception. Sensory packs are also available. The National Trust recommends booking these items in advance.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
