About Ickworth Estate - National Trust
Accessibility Overview
Set amongst vast parkland and woodland in Suffolk, Ickworth Estate features shops, cafés and House.
There is car parking at the estate with designated parking bays for Blue Badge holders next to the plant shop.
The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found in the toilet block by the car park, and in the West Wing.
The plant shop and Porter's Lodge Café, have step-free level access into and throughout each area. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.
A number of the main routes around the property have uneven or ramped/sloped surfaces, so cycles and off-road/all-terrain mobility scooters can be borrowed from the Welcome Point in the plant shop. The National Trust recommends booking these in advance.
